Is this a full MikroTik router or a limited demo?
You get a full router environment, not a crippled demo. Within the free resource limits (CPU, RAM, disk and bandwidth), you can explore most RouterOS features, build real tunnels and test advanced networking scenarios.
Can I break things and reinstall if needed?
Yes. The free VPS is designed for testing and learning. If you misconfigure something or want a fresh start, you can reinstall, reset or ask for a clean image without any penalty during the free period.
What can I realistically run on the free plan?
The free plan is ideal for 10–50 VPN users (depending on encryption and traffic), small lab with multiple tunnels, queues and firewall rules, and BGP/OSPF testing with a limited number of peers.
What happens after the free period ends?
Near the end of your free period, you can upgrade to a paid plan and keep all your configuration and IPs, export your backup and move elsewhere, or simply let the free VPS expire. You’ll receive notifications in advance.
